How to add guest reviews to your direct website

Use the website widget to add guest reviews to your website

As long as you have access to the embed HTML code, you can display guest reviews on the properties of your direct website.

In Futurestay

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Hover over the "Properties" tab in the main navigation
  3. Select the property that you would like to display guest reviews for
  4. When the property opens, select "Property Details" from the left-hand menu
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see an open space for the Website reviews widget

Find the review you want to display

  1. Go to Facebook, Yelp, TripAdvisor, or any other site with reviews
  2. Find the HTML code of the review you want to add

3. Copy the HTML code

4. Go back to Futurestay and paste the HTML code into the widget box:

5. Repeat this process for all of the reviews you would like to display for your property

Please note: Reviews do not dynamically update. If a new Facebook review is posted to your page, it does not automatically appear on your website. You need to embed the link for it by following these steps.
Do not worry about adding spaces between each pasted code, just paste it in the Website review widget's box and save.

6. When you click save, the property on your direct website will show the review. Guests will see it when they click to read more about your property before booking.

If you would like the same review to appear across all of your properties, please embed the code in each of your Property Page website widgets.

Do these reviews appear on listing sites too?

No, these reviews only appear on your properties for your direct website.
